TIPS! How I know if the fruit is ripe?
For the pineapple just pull a leaf out towards the inside, if it comes out easy that means it's ripe and ready to be eaten. For watermelons ripe melons have a hollow sound when you tap the outside, look for the patch where the melon would have been on the ground if it's a yellow color it's probably ripe, if it's white, it's probably not.
